Gosling Lake Outpost
GPS N49º49.220' W90º28.281'
Our Gosling Lake outpost camp sits just a short walk from the lake, featuring a panoramic view of the lake. This solar powered outpost is well suited for 4-6 people, although up to 8 may be accommodated comfortably. A minimum of 4 people is required for booking this camp. The lake system is 3000+ acres of dark stained water and boasts abundant walleye and northern pike. In 2007 we upgraded the phone system for your security.
There is one creek running into Gosling Lake from the portage lake called Longneck. This portage lake has its own set of boats and motors and is easily reached by a short walking trail. The biggest walleye caught on Gosling was in 2008 and measured 30". Northerns caught on Gosling regularily measure over 30" with the largest for most seasons coming in around the 46-48 inch mark. Boating equipment at this camp includes 4-14 foot Lund boats with 8 hp Yamaha motors.
